Ezra Miller, an actor who has appeared in Justice League movies as “The Flash,” has been charged in Vermont with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, according to Vermont State Police.

Miller, 29, who owns a residence in Stamford, was issued a citation to appear in Bennington County Superior criminal court on Sept. 26 for an arraignment on the felony charge, state police said in a news release issued Monday afternoon.

Police were notified of a reported burglary at a County Road residence in Stamford a little before 6 p.m. on May 1, according to the release. Police said that “initial findings” revealed that several bottles of alcohol were taken from the home while the homeowners were not there.

The burglary charge followed an investigation that included surveillance videos and witness statements, according to the release.

Miller was located late Sunday night and issued the citation, police said. They did not release further details.

NBCNews reported last week that the latest film featuring “The Flash” was still on track despite recent news reports involving Miller and alleged “cult-like” behavior

Rolling Stone in June reported on allegations of "unsafe" conditions at Miller's home in Vermont, where a woman and children were reportedly staying. Miller was arrested in April on an assault charge in Hawaii, according to a Yahoo News report
