Barbara L. Martin, intelligent, fun-loving, and dedicated

After a courageous battle with cancer, Barbara Martin passed away in her home surrounded by her loving husband and family.
Born to Clifton and Joanne Towle in Augusta Maine, Barbara grew up in Winthrop Maine. She began working various jobs in her teens, eventually finding an interest in the law which led to a position as a legislative clerk in the Maine State Senate.
Upon moving to Vermont, Barbara worked for several law firms, most notably and for the longest at Salmon and Nostrand Law in Bellows Falls.
Barbara is survived by her husband Burt Martin, her son Gary Sirois, her son Chip Sirois and his wife Dawn, 2 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 1 great granddaughter and her brothers Mike, Mark and Matt Towle.
Barbara was predeceased by her youngest son Christopher Sirois and Granddaughter Samantha Sirois.
Barbara was intelligent, fun loving and dedicated to her work, her family and her friends.
She was admired and respected by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
A celebration of her life will be held when it is safe for us to gather together.
