Perennial candidate H. Brooke Paige has rescinded his Republican nominations for all of his statewide campaigns but one: secretary of state. The Vermont Republican Party has until Friday to nominate replacement candidates for attorney general, auditor and treasurer.

“As secretary of state, I want to assure the public that these administrative delays do not impact the 100% confidence that we have in the accuracy of the vote totals for all the candidates as reported by the town clerks,” Condos said Tuesday.
