Secretary of State issues polling information for primary election on Tuesday

The Vermont primary election is on Tuesday, Aug. 26.

Jim Condos, the Secretary of State, said in a statement that all polls in Vermont are open between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

Absentee ballots may be requested from town clerks in person, by phone or by mail.

All early and absentee ballots must be submitted to the town clerk’s office by 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, the day before the primary.

The deadline for voter registration was Wednesday.
